For the prevention and treatment of bees infested with Varroa destructor mites. The cardboard strips, impregnated with essential oils, are placed in the brood area of the hive.

Composition

Each strip is soaked with a complex of essential oils:
peppermint, eucalyptus, geranium, coriander, thyme, wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), pine.

Method of application

For the prevention and treatment of bees infested with Varroa destructor mites. The cardboard strips, impregnated with essential oils, are fixed in the brood chamber of the hive.

Dosage

One strip per 3–4 bee spaces (4–6 brood frames).
The strip is technologically designed so that bees, through their natural activity, will try to remove it from the hive (by chewing it).
Strips may be used during the honey flow period to support and preserve colony strength.

For bee colonies with normal development, place the cardboard strips between frames 3–4 and 7–8 and leave them in place until the first visual inspection.
For 8–10 brood frames, use 2 strips. In multi-chamber hives, use 2 strips per hive body.

Contraindications

Do not use “Ekovel” when the ambient temperature is below +10 °C.

Precautions

Do not use the product when the ambient temperature is below +10 °C.
During use, smoking, eating, and drinking are prohibited.
Wearing protective gloves is recommended.

Packaging

Plastic pouch containing cardboard strips to be placed in the brood area of the hive.
Instructions for use are printed on the packaging.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry, cool place, out of reach of children and separately from food products.

Shelf life

36 months from the date of manufacture.
